ABOUT THE PUB
Tucked away in the historic village of Oakley, we inherit our name from Richard Temple-Nugent-Bridges-Chandos-Grenville, the 2nd Duke of Buckingham and Chandos.
He was often called Chandos.

Our idyllic 18th century thatched gastropub is Oakley's best-kept secret.
Enjoy our restaurants freshly cooked food, prepared with what the season has to offer, along with our proudly selected list of wines or just a good old beer.

Grab a sunny spot in the garden and relax with your favourite tipple or kick off your muddy boots and cozy up next to the fire.

Dogs, well-behaved owners, and children are always welcome.
